Our Services

What is Hospice

Hospice care is specialized medical care for individuals facing a life-limiting illness, typically when curative treatment is no longer the focus.

Spiritual Care

Hospice cares for the whole person — body, mind, and spirit. Abbey Hospice chaplains provide a safe, supportive space to explore spiritual questions and share what’s on your heart.

Bereavement

Grief does not end when hospice care ends. Abbey Hospice provides bereavement services for families for at least 13 months following a loved one’s passing.

Inpatient Facility

The facility provides short-term symptom management and respite care for patients whose pain or symptoms cannot be safely managed at home.

Our Service Areas

We provide hospice care within a broad regional service area to ensure families have access to quality end-of-life care close to home.

Volunteer

Volunteers are needed daily at Abbey Hospice and in the field. Opportunities are tailored to your background and interests.

Compassionate Support for Anyone Navigating Loss

At Abbey Hospice, we believe no one should face grief alone. Our grief support services are open to everyone in the community — not just families who have used our hospice services. Whether your loss is recent or from years past, we are here to walk alongside you with understanding and care.

Compassionate Care That Puts You First

At Abbey Hospice, we are committed to creating a supportive and comforting environment for both patients and families. We recognize that healing and comfort come in many forms, which is why we welcome support animals during visits. In addition, we have a specially trained support dog available to provide companionship, comfort, and emotional reassurance.

Seamless, Responsive Care

To ensure timely and efficient support, Abbey Hospice maintains its own on-site pharmacy and medical supplies. This allows our team to respond quickly to patient needs, minimize delays, and provide consistent, uninterrupted care when it matters most.

Care on Your Terms

Choosing hospice care is a deeply personal decision. Families have the freedom to select the provider that best aligns with their needs, values, and expectations. We encourage patients and loved ones to make informed choices and partner with a team they trust to provide compassionate, personalized care.

Honoring Our Veterans

At Abbey Hospice, we are honored to care for those who have served our country. Veterans often face unique physical, emotional, and spiritual needs at the end of life, and our team is specially trained to provide compassionate, respectful care tailored to their experiences.

Testimonials

We could not ask for better care from Abbey.  They took care of my mom (in home 2015), my father in law (2020), and my father this past November 2025.

The nurses were wonderful!  Thank you for all of your love and support during this time.  You guys were wonderful!!  Michelle was such a blessing in helping get dad there.

Nurse Bethany and Ms. Gwen were fabulous.  From the bottom of my heard, I thank you and the rest of the staff.

Tonya, Gwen and Cathy were a God sent.  They were beyond wonderful and I don’t know how we would have made it without them.

Everyone was compassionate and caring.  Carol kept me informed every step.  Ron was so thoughtful and sensitive to our needs.

We were thankful for everyone.  So kind and understanding.

I could not ask for better care for my mom.  I appreciate the wisdom of staff knowing my mom needed to come to your facility, and not to go home.  I wish I had called sooner.

We appreciate Abbey Hospice and highly recommend them.  They are friendly and kind.

Great staff and services.

The staff were genuinely concerned in the care of my wife.  She received quality care throughout. I would recommend Abbey with absolutely no reservations.

All the hospice workers were great, especially Carol and Jessie.  They were our closest contacts.
