Outstanding Inpatient Care for Your Loved Ones

When you choose Abbey Hospice, you can be at ease knowing that your loved ones are in capable and compassionate hands. Our freestanding inpatient facility offers 12 rooms; one is semi-private. Each room has its own bathroom, individual temperature controls, and French doors that opens to the porch. We also provide a family room, family dining room, and a chapel.

Our inpatient facility is used for short-term symptom management and respite care. Patients may be eligible for inpatient hospice care if they have uncontrolled pain or other symptoms that cannot be managed in the home setting.

Length of stay in the inpatient unit varies based on each individual patient's needs. The average length of stay at an inpatient hospice facility is 2 - 4 days. Inpatient hospice is not intended to be a residential facility. It's purpose is to stabilize a symptom and/or other goals set for individual patients.
